Yes! While not how I typically operate, I can provide an indoor studio space on Salt Spring Island on special request. This option is best for solo portraits and headshots, or two people posing together at a maximum. It is not appropriate for larger groups.
Yes, but not always. If you think you may need more time to accomplish your photography goals, let's discuss ahead of time to ensure that can be an option when the time comes. I typically include a timing cushion on bookings for flexibility, but sometimes (especially during busy season late Spring to early Fall) it is not possible to accomodate going over time.

That being said, whatever YOU feel most comfortable in will make you more free to move and be at ease in the moment. That's not going to be the same for everyone, so take the following advice with a grain of salt.
Try to steer clear of busy patterns or large pieces of flare that could be overwhelming and distracting to the true subject of the photos.
Natural or neutral tones in solid colours tend to work well for groups, and individual portraits. However, sometime a powerful statement piece in a vibrant colour (avoid neons) can provide some brilliant photo opportunities as well. The most important thing is that you feel happy in whatever it is.

No. When you use my photography services I allow rights to print wherever you prefer. I do recommend using a professional print lab, if you choose to print yourself. I can only guarantee prints made through the "store" section of your final gallery, or otherwise directly through me.
When you purchase prints directly through your photographer, you have a better chance of them turning out in the best way, and you're further supporting me as an artist in my creative work. But I fully encourage you to arrange for printing as you see fit with the files you receive.
Yes! My partner is a licensed drone operator located here on Salt Spring Island, who has been working with local landscape business to capture aerial images and videos of properties before and after. Together we have had the opportunity to gain some experience providing footage for local businesses, real estate listings, and tourism projects.
While this is still a new offering in which we are learning and growing our collaborative skills, our prices are reflective of the new level of experience with video creation.

If you need to reschedule because of sickness, weather, or other circumstances that come up (I get it, life is unpredictable much of the time) that's not a problem. I will do my best to offer an alternate date or time that works for us both, at no extra cost. If rescheduling happens a second time for one booking, I may charge a rescheduling fee depending on what the reason for rescheduling is and how far in advance notice is given.
I hold deep gratitude to live and work on this land, which is unceded (stolen) Coast Salish territory, where the Hul'qumi'num- and SENĆOŦEN-speaking peoples have tended the lands and surrounding waters since time immemorial.
